The historical monuments – harmoniously combined with nature are highlights its beauty. The must visit places are Bateti lake and Kintsvisi Monastery.

In the morning meet your guide and drive to Kareli. The first stop will be at Kintsvisi Monastery, believed to have been founded in the 12th century, although some parts of the complex may date back even earlier.
It was an important religious and cultural center during medieval Georgia and played a significant role in the region’s history. It has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other medieval monuments in the region, reflecting its significance in Georgian history and architecture. After visiting church continue drive towards Bateti lake. Here you will meet your horseback riding instructors and get ready to ride up to the lake. The trail goes up to Bateti river – a small spring flowing from the lake. The valley and the lake are really distinguished by their beauty. Here you will have an outdoor picnic lunch. After short rest ride down to valley and then drive to Tsromi church – a cross cupola church – dated as early as 5th century. The church is built with smoothed stones, without ornaments that gives a monumental look. Later drive back to Tbilisi, end of the tour.
