Kaspi region had significant military and cultural significance due to its geographical and strategic location. Beside of beautiful nature there are many important historical and cultural monuments. The Samtavisi Cathedral, decorated with unique ornaments, and with its harmonious proportions is one of the masts visit cathedrals of Georgia.

In the morning meet your guide and explore Kaspi region. The first you drive to small village Bershueti and meet an incredible woman Nana Tskrialashvili, who owned fruit orchards and is making natural dried fruits. She will meet you and share her story, you can walk in orchards and see how she works and takes care of her trees. Upon availability and seasonality, you can also collect fruits from trees. Later continue drive to visit Samtavisi Cathedral – built in 11^th century richly decorated in ornaments. after short tour you will visit small cereal farm and meet one more incredible woman Tamar Sachaleli – who decided to bring back the traditional Georgian cereals that were almost lost. She will share her story and will explain how she is working in her small family farm. Later continue your drive and visit Jambakur-Orbeliani Palace built in 18-19 Century. The owners were Alexander Orbeliani and his wife Mariam Jambakur-Orbeliani. The place was famous among Georgian writers and poets, who loved to visit and stay there. Unfortunately, the palace has not survived the Bolsheviks unharmed. In 1924 nine cartloads full of books and manuscripts, the antique furniture and tableware were taken from the palace. After visiting palace drive to village Lamiskana where you will have a lunch at small family farm and meet one more incredible woman Maia Giorgashvili – who will prepare
